Apparently folks still read the newspaper.

We had a glowing early review come out from the largest area newspaper on Monday and have absolutely been flooded with calls and online purchases the last three days. I've been told each of the previous three days have matched or surpassed what was previously the largest single day for ticket sales in the 10 year history of the theatre.

So, yeah, I guess folks still love Shakespeare. Who knew?

Anywho, I had meant to do another post on Wednesday, but pushed it to Thursday due to work. Which then got pushed to today. So far it's been fairly quiet, but it's early yet and I've still got to prepare for the musical program tonight.

I think I've mentioned previously the secondary rehearsal/music space we have in our building. It's acoustically modeled after an opera house and we usually run music performances on the Friday and Saturday nights that we are also having a main stage production running. So it can get pretty chaotic when you've roughly 200 people showing up in a 30 minute window for two different performances that all run through a single box office (i.e., me).

That said, I've got an awesome lasagna recipe I want to share with you and I'm going to go see one of the midnight showings of The Pokemusical tomorrow night, so I should have lots to write about in the next few days, assuming I actually find more time to sit down and write it out. :P
