While my theatre did not come up as big as I had hoped in the awards ceremony, it was still an enjoyable evening. It was your standard mix of humor, failed humor, touching speeches, boring speeches, strange choices for guest presenters, and the unexpectedly drunk woman mentioned above.
I thought for sure was going to face-plant before she got to the stage but she made it there in one piece and proceed to ramble on somewhat incoherently until well after the pianist tried to play her off.
Also, good Lord, people, do not make the backdrop of your stage a wall of super reflective silver circles and then blast said backdrop with bright lights. If I want to go blind I'll spend time outside. :P
